I have been teaching English at Horn Lake for six years. I absolutely love it! I love to read and I love to challenge my students to read new things. In my classroom, we do a lot of reading and writing. I also focus heavily on the ACT. I teach mostly juniors and seniors, and junior year is when students should start taking the ACT. I try to provide students with as much grammar instruction as I can so that they feel confident when it comes time to take the ACT. One of the other factors, as far as the ACT is concerned, is the time. We will practice completing smaller portions in a certain amount of time.
